Sticky proxies keep the same IP for the duration of your session. That's critical for checkout flows where the site tracks your session by IP. Rotating proxies swap IPs on each request, which is better for tasks where you're hitting a site repeatedly without maintaining a cart. ISPs are always sticky. Residential can be either.
